Marriott Reaches Deal In Dispute Over $250M Honolulu Hotel

Law360, New York (July 06, 2012, 7:46 PM ET) -- Marriott International Inc. and the owner of a $250 million luxury hotel in Honolulu on Thursday reportedly reached a settlement in a court battle for control of the disputed property, setting the hotel up to emerge from bankruptcy.

The Modern Honolulu hotel owner M Waikiki LLC will shell out an undisclosed amount of cash to Marriott in exchange for the hotel chain operator's agreement to drop its lawsuit against Waikiki and stop fighting Waikiki's Chapter 11 reorganization plan, according to a report in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser....
