Judge To Tap Mediator In NewPage Ch. 11 Feud

Law360, Wilmington (July 12, 2012, 7:50 PM ET) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Thursday said he will appoint a mediator to referee negotiations on NewPage Corp.'s reorganization, which have sputtered yet again in the wake of the paper manufacturer’s rejection of a rival’s merger offer.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross said during a court telephone conference that he will appoint the mediator after NewPage files a reorganization plan, which the company plans to do within 30 days.
