Trustee Demands Pillsbury Fork Over Fees

Law360, New York (December 12, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. trustee overseeing Sonic Blue Inc.'s bankruptcy proceedings is pressing Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP to fork over at least $4 million in fees to its former client due to the firm's alleged $75 million conflict of interest in the Chapter 11 case.

On Tuesday, U.S. Trustee Dennis Connolly threw his support behind Sonic Blue's disgorgement bid, recommending that Pillsbury return the millions of dollars accrued throughout its four years as the electronics maker's debtor counsel.
