Law360, New York (May 23, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. trustee overseeing Linens 'n Things' Chapter 11 case said Thursday that a law firm that has done extensive work for the home furnishings chain in the past should not serve as its special counsel while the company is in bankruptcy.
Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis filed an objection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to Linens Holding Co.'s motion to approve Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP as special counsel to the debtors, which include the parent company and several divisions.
