Law360, New York (June 25, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- The judge in Tribune Co.'s Chapter 11 case has reportedly indicated that he will allow the media giant to begin deposing witnesses in actor Warren Beatty's suit against a Tribune unit over movie and television rights to the cartoon detective Dick Tracy.
Judge Kevin Carey of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware said at a hearing Thursday that he would allow Tribune to move forward in gathering information, including deposing Beatty's business manager, Jeff Bacon, according to the Associated Press.
