Law360, New York (November 01, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Even as South Korea’s Samsung acknowledged it had been raided by European regulators, six of its Japanese rivals in the static random access memory (SRAM) industry revealed they are being investigated by the U.S. Justice Department over alleged antitrust violations.
NEC Electronics Corp, Renesas Technology Corp, Toshiba Corp, Sony Corp, Hitachi Ltd and Mitsubishi Electric Corp are part of the probe being undertaken by U.S. antitrust regulators, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported Thursday, without citing sources.
