Law360, New York (November 08, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Toshiba asserted that it would challenge the decision after the Japanese corporation’s claims that rival chip maker Hynix Semiconductor Inc. had infringed on its patents for flash memory chips were rejected by the U.S. International Trade Commission.
"Toshiba contends that the initial determination is erroneous and intends to file a petition seeking review by the full ITC," Toshiba spokesman Keisuke Ohmori told Dow Jones Newswires. "And we will seek to correct what we believe to be an erroneous initial determination."
