SEC, FCC Investigate HP Over Spying Scandal

Law360, New York (November 17, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Embattled Hewlett-Packard Co. has come under scrutiny by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Communications Commission for its board spying scandal.

The disclosure, in the companies Thursday filing with the SEC, sheds light on the company’s legal woes in the aftermath of the news that it was spying on members of the media to find a board leak of company information.
