Norvir Antitrust Cases Survive Abbott's Bid To Dismiss

Law360, New York (January 13, 2010, 4:57 PM ET) -- Four suits accusing Abbot Laboratories of illegally jacking up the price for its HIV drug Norvir will remain intact now that a judge has rejected Abbott's motion arguing that the plaintiffs' claims should be thrown out because the drugmaker's actions didn't amount to exclusionary conduct.

Judge Claudia Wilken of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California signed off on an order Tuesday denying Abbott's Sept. 10 omnibus motion to dismiss.
