Law360, New York (March 25, 2010, 2:04 PM ET) -- A group of eBay Inc. sellers is challenging the dismissal of their putative class action that accused the company of monopolizing the online auction market and charging excessive fees.
The plaintiffs in the case filed an appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday, seeking to revive claims on behalf of millions of eBay users that the online auction titan bought up rivals to gain a monopoly and used its position to overcharge auction sellers for its service.
