Law360, New York (November 22, 2010, 2:58 PM ET) -- A judge has shot down a slew of requests by Dollar Tree Stores Inc. to kill or weaken a consolidated class action alleging the discount retail chain misclassified workers as managers and denied them overtime pay.
In an order issued Friday, Judge Samuel Conti of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California denied nine summary judgment motions filed by Dollar Tree, which sought class decertification, summary judgment against individual members and dismissal of certain claims, among other requests.
