Foreign Claims In SRAM Antitrust MDL Remain In Play

Law360, New York (January 04, 2011, 6:44 PM ET) -- The federal judge overseeing the static random access memory price-fixing multidistrict litigation has issued a mixed ruling on Cypress Semiconductor Corp. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.'s bid to nix claims that implicate foreign commerce.

The defendants had sought to toss three kinds of claims brought by direct and indirect purchasers of SRAM products pursuant to the Foreign Trade Antitrust Improvements Act.
