Law360, New York (February 10, 2011, 3:41 PM ET) -- Squire Sanders & Dempsey LLP has picked up a prominent Bay Area patent attorney from Jones Day to join its expanding intellectual property life sciences practice.
The firm on Jan. 26 said it brought in Rahul Pathak, a biologics and genomics expert, as a partner in its San Francisco and Palo Alto, Calif., offices.
Pathak, who holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology, makes the move from Jones Day’s Silicon Valley office, where he headed that firm’s patent prosecution practice.
