Craigslist Fraud Claims Against EBay Survive In Calif.

Law360, New York (July 14, 2011, 7:30 PM ET) -- EBay Inc. must face fraud claims filed by Craigslist Inc. in California after a state judge ruled Wednesday that eBay's victory in Delaware last year did not mean the current case accusing it of trademark infringement during a corporate deal should be tossed.

“EBay is disappointed with the Court’s decision that the judgment in Delaware has no preclusive effect on the California action," Michelle Fang, eBay associate general counsel, told Law360 on Thursday.
