Law360, New York (July 28, 2011, 9:23 PM ET) -- A California judge on Tuesday ruled in favor of actor Brendan Fraser and director and writer Paul Haggis in a breach of contract suit against producer Bob Yari over unpaid fees for their involvement in the Oscar-winning movie "Crash."
Judge Daniel J. Buckley said Yari improperly withheld money from Fraser, Haggis and co-writer and producer Bobby Moresco for their work on "Crash," which won three Academy Awards in 2006, including best picture and best original screenplay.
