Law360, New York (September 22, 2011, 7:10 PM ET) -- StubHub Inc. and the Philadelphia Phillies were hit with a putative class action in California federal court last week accusing the companies of unfairly withholding the original value of tickets bought through StubHub's resale marketplace.
In May, named plaintiff Joseph Fabozzi bought two tickets to a Phillies game through StubHub for $170, but was unaware of the face value of those tickets because the information was not printed on the ticket, according to an amended complaint filed on Sept. 14.
