Monroe Pics Belong To Estate, Not Photogs, 9th Circ. Told

Law360, Los Angeles (October 13, 2011, 6:15 PM ET) -- The estate of Marilyn Monroe told the Ninth Circuit on Thursday that recently released documents show she was a California resident when she died in 1962, a claim that could force photographers who own copyrights on iconic images of Monroe to pay licensing fees to the estate.
