Law360, Los Angeles (November 10, 2011, 8:13 PM ET) -- A Chinese television advertising company asked a California federal judge on Thursday to dismiss a proposed securities class action accusing the company of falsifying its financial statements, arguing that the investors' lawsuit doesn't allege any specific frauds.
Attorneys representing China Century Dragon Media Inc. said the lawsuit failed to show how alleged discrepancies in public filings it made with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and filings submitted to Chinese regulators by a related company show China Century attempted to inflate its earnings artificially.
