Judge Won't Certify Aerotek Class in Calif. Wage Suit

Law360, New York (November 16, 2011, 4:32 PM ET) -- A California federal judge refused Tuesday to certify a class of call-center workers from staffing company Aerotek Scientific LLC, who were claiming they were required to arrive at work early but were not paid for that time.

U.S. District Judge Margaret R. Morrow said that there were too many discrepancies over how early workers were told to arrive, when they typically arrived, and what start times they reported to Aerotek to allow the court to certify the class requested by plaintiff Tamara Pryor.
