Law360, New York (November 28, 2011, 4:56 PM ET) -- A California appeals court has upheld a decision granting more than $5 million in attorneys' fees to semiconductor manufacturer Novellus Systems Inc., affirming a defeat for microchip maker Linear Technology Corp. in a nearly decadelong infringement and contract suit, Novellus said Monday.
Additionally, the California Court of Appeal, Sixth Appellate District, upheld an award of over $3 million to Tokyo Electron Ltd., another semiconductor maker named in Linear's suit, according to the court's opinion.
