DOJ Seeks Discovery Stay In LCD Price-Fixing Case

Law360, New York (July 26, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has asked the judge presiding over the purported class action alleging collusion among TFT-LCD manufacturers to put discovery of the case on hold for the next year.

The DOJ, which is carrying out its own investigation of the alleged conduct, cited confidentiality reasons in its proposal for a limited stay of all discovery in the massive antitrust case for a year starting on Sept. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
