Law360, New York (July 27, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A judge has vacated an order from 2004 that found Cordis Corp.’s medical device for treating aneurysms literally infringed Boston Scientific Corp.’s and Target Therapeutics Inc.’s implant delivery system technology.
Judge James Ware of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ruled Friday that his June 2004 order determining that Cordis’ detachable coil device literally violated 10 claims of one patent was based on a claim construction that was no longer applicable.
