Law360, New York (February 24, 2012, 4:04 PM ET) -- Proview Electronics Co. Ltd. brought its fight with Apple Inc. over the iPad trademark across the Pacific Ocean earlier this month, arguing in California state court that Apple deceived the company into unloading its IPAD marks for chump change.
Taiwan-based Proview lodged the suit in California Superior Court, Santa Clara County, on Feb. 17 alleging Apple fraudulently obtained the iPad mark in several countries for £35,000 ($55,535) by setting up a dummy corporation to conceal Apple's true identity and intentions.
