Law360, New York (February 27, 2012, 5:32 PM ET) -- Mayer Brown LLP has poached a former Reed Smith LLP employment practice head to boost its employment and labor defense offerings in Los Angeles, the firm said Friday.
John Zaimes began at the firm Feb. 14 and arrived as a seasoned team-builder, having built Reed Smith’s employment practice into the largest practice area at the firm's Los Angeles office. Zaimes said that he had similar hopes for Mayer Brown and would bring his networking expertise to grow the firm's employment practice.
