Law360, New York (March 14, 2005, 12:00 AM ET) -- Fresh off its loss against rival Guidant in a patent dispute over drug-coated stents, medical device maker Medtronic said Monday it has lost another dispute against Johnson & Johnson Inc.’s Cordis Corp. in a Delaware jury retrial.
The 1997 lawsuit was retried last week in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware after Chief U.S. District Judge Sue L. Robinson overturned a $271 million jury verdict against Medtronic in 2002, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit reviewed the case....
