Calif. Lawmakers Advance Bill On Civil Deposition Time Limit

Law360, New York (May 02, 2012, 4:02 PM ET) -- The California Assembly Judiciary Committee voted Tuesday to advance a bill that would limit most depositions in state civil cases to a seven-hour maximum adopted from federal civil litigation rules, though opponents say that's not long enough for some of the state's complex cases.
