Calif. Lawmaker Asks USDA To Investigate 'Meat Glue'

Law360, New York (May 04, 2012, 4:19 PM ET) -- A California state senator sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Agriculture on Wednesday expressing concern over growing food industry use of transglutaminase, also referred to as “meat glue,” and asking the agency to investigate the material's health effects.
