Law360, New York (May 14, 2012, 2:02 PM ET) -- NovaLogic Inc. has sued "Call of Duty" creator Activision Blizzard Inc. and its licensing partners Penguin Group USA Inc. and Microsoft Corp., alleging the wildly popular first-person shooter game infringes the plaintiff’s "Delta Force" marks.
In a complaint filed May 8 in California federal court, NovaLogic claims Activision incorporated the Delta Force symbol and name found in NovaLogic’s series of military warfare games into “Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.”
