Obama Nominates 2 Judges For NY, Calif. Federal Courts

Law360, New York (May 15, 2012, 10:31 PM ET) -- President Barack Obama on Monday nominated a state judge and a magistrate judge to sit on the federal courts for the Western District of New York and the Central District of California, respectively.

The names sent to the U.S. Senate were those of Judge Frank Paul Geraci Jr., currently a Monroe County court judge in Rochester, N.Y., and Judge Fernando M. Olguin, currently a magistrate judge for the Central District of California, according to a statement from the White House.
