UMG Denies Miscalculating Artists' Digital Royalties

Law360, New York (May 22, 2012, 6:53 PM ET) -- UMG Recordings Inc. on Monday rejected class action claims by the Temptations and other artists that the label had purposely miscalculated royalty payments, saying its refusal to pay higher royalties on digital downloads was a reasonable and lawful business decision.
