Depp Accuser Must ID Herself In Suit Over Concert Fracas

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 10:55 PM ET) -- A California state judge on Thursday ruled that an anonymous woman who claims Hollywood heartthrob Johnny Depp’s security detail and others roughed her up at a 2011 rock concert must identify herself if the suit is to go forward.

The Los Angeles Superior Court judge upheld objections from Depp and co-defendant Live Nation Entertainment to the woman's proceeding with the suit anonymously, finding that she didn't meet any of the necessary criteria, according to a tentative ruling confirmed as final by Depp’s attorneys.
