Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 8:28 PM ET) -- A California federal judge ruled Friday that a Michael Jackson memorabilia seller infringed copyrights claimed by Jackson's estate, and barred the dealer's sale of the pop star's photographs, recordings and song lyrics online.
In an order granting the estate's motion for partial summary judgment, U.S. District Judge Dean D. Pregerson rejected each of Howard Mann and Vintage Pop Media Group LLC's affirmative defenses and ruled that the Jackson estate was entitled to a permanent injunction barring the distribution of infringing material.
