Stryker Will Pay $4.25M To End Sales Rep Expense Claims

Law360, New York (September 10, 2012, 12:09 PM ET) -- Stryker Sales Corp. agreed Friday to pay a class of California sales representatives $4.25 million to settle allegations that the medical technology company failed to reimburse employees for business expenses.

In a motion filed in California federal court, a class of 96 sales representatives asked the judge to preliminarily approve the settlement agreement to resolve claims that Stryker violated state labor laws by failing to pay employees’ out-of-pocket expenses.
