Pretec Defaults In SanDisk Flash Memory Suit

Law360, New York (October 24, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Pretec Electronics Corp.’s failure to respond in its own defense to SanDisk Corp.’s patent infringement case over flash memory devices has led the court to issue an entry of default.

Judge Vaughn R. Walker handed down a default judgment against Pretec, the only remaining defendant in the suit, and vacated the trial set for mid-November in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Wednesday.
