Law360, New York (December 19, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- A court-appointed expert in charge of determining whether Chevron Corp. dumped toxic waste in Ecuador said Wednesday that his offices were burglarized and three computers with information about the case were stolen.
Richard Cabrera, who is preparing a report for a massive class action lawsuit brought by indigenous groups and Amazon rainforest communities, said his Quito office was broken into on Dec. 13 and that two desktop computers, a laptop, two printers and a digital camera were missing after the break-in, the Associated Press reported Thursday....
