Law360, New York (July 05, 2006, 12:00 AM ET) -- Waving a white flag in a long-running patent infringement battle in the lucrative Web analytics industry, NetRatings Inc. has reached a settlement with Unica Corp. and its subsidiary, Sane Solutions Inc., marking the fourth such compromise reached in NetRatings' ongoing patent enforcement program.
Under the terms of the deal, NetRatings, the New York-based subsidiary of survey giant Nielson Media Research, plans to scrap all pending legal claims against Unica.
