After Legal Win, Nintendo Buys Patents Of Failed 'Troll'
Nintendo Co. Ltd. said Thursday that it had purchased the patent portfolio of a so-called patent troll that was forced to sell off its assets to cover Nintendo's legal fees after unsuccessfully suing the company for infringement.

Nintendo Beats Another Wii Patent Suit
A Maryland federal judge on Wednesday struck down IA Labs CA LLC's claims that Nintendo Co. Ltd.'s Wii video game system's Wii Fit software and accompanying Wii Balance Board infringed one of its patents, handing Nintendo its most recent Wii-related patent victory.
