7th Circ. Upholds Dismissal Of Poultry Workers' OT Suit
A divided Seventh Circuit on Tuesday affirmed a lower court's dismissal of a putative class action brought against JCG Industries Inc. and Koch Meat Co. Inc. by poultry processors who claim they weren't paid for time spent donning and doffing protective gear, finding the employees are not entitled to compensation for those activities.

Judge Reverses Self, Says State Wage Claim Not Preempted
An Illinois federal judge on Thursday reinstated a state wage law claim brought by a putative class of poultry processors against JCG Industries Inc. and Koch Meat Co. Inc., overturning his earlier decision that the claim was preempted by federal law.
