Wells Fargo Puts Up $13M To End Reinsurance Kickback Suit
Wells Fargo & Co. will pay nearly $13 million to put to rest a class action accusing it of receiving illegal kickbacks from its mortgage reinsurer, according to a deal signed off on by a Pennsylvania judge Friday.

Reinsurer's Losses Disprove Kickback Suit: Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo & Co. moved for summary judgment Wednesday in a putative class action in Pennsylvania claiming the mortgage giant received illegal kickbacks from its mortgage reinsurer, arguing the plaintiffs' theory was proven wholly wrong by the financial crisis.
