Continental Loses Bid To Apply Chinese Laws To Crash MDL
A New York federal judge ruled Tuesday that state laws cover wrongful death claims filed in multidistrict litigation by a Chinese citizen whose wife was among the 49 people killed in a Continental Airlines Inc. crash near Buffalo in 2009.
