Illinois Tool Works Inc. told a California federal judge on Monday that it would challenge a ruling that it couldn't obtain enhanced damages from rival MOC Products Co. Inc., after a $5.55 million verdict found MOC had violated a patent covering cleaning automotive intake systems.
