    US Oil Settles Suit Over Wash. Refinery Emissions

    U.S. Oil & Refining Co. has agreed to pay a civil penalty of $230,000 and spend $746,000 on supplemental environmental projects in order to settle a suit from the federal government and Puget Sound Clean Air Agency over alleged Clean Air Act violations at its petroleum refinery in Tacoma, Wash.
