Wal-Mart Escapes Janitors' Class Claims In FLSA Suit
A New Jersey federal judge on Thursday threw out class claims in a suit accusing Wal-Mart Stores Inc. of exploiting janitors by locking them in its stores overnight and failing to pay them minimum wage and overtime, citing a Third Circuit ruling that class members must prove they have been subjected to a common employer practice.
