An Oregon federal judge on Thursday ruled that National Union Fire Insurance Co. has no obligation to cover judgments and settlements against an ambulance company sued for employing a male emergency medical technician who pled guilty to fondling passengers, reversing his earlier judgment.

An Oregon federal judge on Monday reversed his earlier judgment and said Ace American Insurance Co. and National Union Fire Insurance Co. must cover a $1.75 million verdict against an ambulance company sued for employing a male emergency medical technician who pled guilty to fondling passengers.
