Magistrate Backs Some Class Status In First Data Suit
A federal magistrate judge in New York recommended Thursday that a small business owner be granted class status for declaratory and injunctive relief claims against payment processor First Data Corp., which allegedly made unauthorized debits from his checking account and violated the state's deceptive sales law.
