Coke Escapes Trademark Suit Over 'Zero' Products
An Illinois federal judge on Wednesday junked a suit accusing the Coca-Cola Co. of unlawfully usurping its "Zero" marks from a Canadian spring water company, ruling plaintiffs' term "Naturally Zero" isn't protectable because it merely describes the ingredients and qualities of natural spring water.

Coke USPTO Opposition On Hold In 'Zero' IP Fight
Apple Rush Co. said Tuesday that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has suspended The Coca-Cola Co.'s opposition to the organic juice company's efforts to register the mark "Naturally Zero" pending the resolution of a federal lawsuit.
