An Indiana federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a proposed breach of contract class action against Goldman Sachs & Co. alleging the bank wrongfully blew millions on a 2000-era technology fund, saying the lead plaintiffs were sophisticated investors who knew they could lose their investment.

Atty Can't Bail On Class Action Over Goldman Tech Fund
An Indiana federal judge on Tuesday refused to let an attorney withdraw from representing plaintiffs in a class action against Goldman Sachs because it would leave his clients on their own to argue that the investment firm is to blame for a tech fund tanking, taking their retirement savings with it.
