Class Cert. Denied Again In Ford Engine Deception Suit
A Kentucky federal judge rejected another class certification bid Tuesday in a suit accusing Ford Motor Co. of deceptively installing older diesel engines in some vehicles, ruling that finding Ford liable under the state's consumer protection law would require too many individualized inquiries.
