Abercrombie & Fitch Stores Inc. on Thursday settled two U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission suits alleging bias treatment of Muslim workers who wear headscarves, after federal judges had slapped down its claims that accommodating the religious garb would be an undue hardship.

Abercrombie Can't Shed Headscarf Discrimination Suit
A California federal judge on Wednesday refused to toss a religious discrimination lawsuit against Abercrombie & Fitch Co., ruling a jury should decide whether or not the clothing retailer refused to hire a Muslim woman because she wore a headscarf to a job interview.
