Cybersitter Ends $2B Code Theft Case Against Lenovo, Others
Cybersitter LLC settled a $2.2 billion suit Tuesday in California federal court alleging Lenovo Group Ltd. and other computer makers colluded with the Chinese government to develop Web filtering software using code stolen from the software company.

Ruling that U.S. courts have jurisdiction in the case, a California federal judge on Monday denied motions by three Chinese companies seeking to dismiss a $2.2 billion copyright suit alleging they developed Web-filtering software using code stolen from Cybersitter LLC.

Sony Settles In Cybersitter Code Theft Case
Citing a settlement, a federal judge in California on Tuesday dismissed Cybersitter LLC's copyright suit accusing Sony Corp. of selling computers in China that include Web-filtering software developed using code stolen from Cybersitter.
